Do most patients realize that medical malpractice has occurred?

VIDEO TRANSCRIPT

It's amazing that malpractice can occur in the hospital or the doctors or sometimes even nurses know what's happened but don't inform the patient so that the patient has a bad result, for instance from a knee surgery case that  I handled, and they don't know why they have a bad result. Well, it turns out they put the wrong implant into the left knee. So nobody told the patient this. They discharged the patient, the patient is wondering why they have such a bad result from their surgery. So yes, it is possible that you don't even know that malpractice occurs so my advice is if you have a result that you weren't expecting from medical procedures or from care, contact an attorney to look at the records and see what happened.
