Can I sue a pharmacist for malpractice?

VIDEO TRANSCRIPT

A pharmacist can be sued for malpractice. The typical case is where you're taking a prescription. The prescription is written correctly by the doctor.  They misread it or misfill it at the pharmacy. Their procedures aren't in place or followed. They give you the wrong pill, but it's in the bottle with the label of the correct medication, so that when you get it home, you don't know. You take the pill and it causes you injury. The answer is definitely yes. A pharmacist can be sued for malpractice.
